A little over a year ago, our pack was completed when Lucy waddled out of the woods and straight into our hearts. She has been pampered with regular showers, cute accessories, and way more treats than could be counted, but nothing compared to her visit to see Ms. Vicky yesterday. As a dog of the wild, Lucy likes to bite her nails (sharpen her hunting knives) herself and is very fussy about having them cut by anyone but herself. Our other dog, Keiki, think she is a cat and has a conniption anyone so much as tries to call her while holding any type of nail trimming device. Ms. Vicky was able to instantly read what each puppy needed to feel comfortable to get the best mani/pedi and bath of their lives. Given regular breaks for screaming and whining, it will take about 2 months to get all of Keiki’s nails clipped. Ms. Vicky did it in under 2 minutes. Even Lucy handed over her mental sharpening stone to Ms. Vicky instantly and seamlessly. I was also blown away to see Lucy after her bath. Her coat was significantly lighter and softer than I had ever experienced it to be. Her undercoat shinned right through blonder than I knew it was. All three of my pack members left softer than I have ever felt them, smelling great, and donning an adorable flower. All this happened in less than an hour!! For the record, approximate weights of my dogs are 60, 30, and 22 pounds.

Vickie is a caring & loving groomer and has made Piper's experience so wonderful that we refer to it as going to the "spa"! Vickie has designed and equipped her in-home grooming salon with mastery. I definitely recommend you bring your pet in for an appointment before Vickie's calendar fills up!

Vickie worked so hard with Rocco, my Aussiedor. We started at 4 months, when I was at my wits end. Puppies are more than a handful! Rocco learned his basic commands. He was able to socialize with Vickie's dogs, which are amazing as well. If there were any issues, Vickie always researched and offered more training techniques. She came to my house to work in his environment as well. Rocco also got some spa treatments, Reiki and she help alleviate some skin allergies.
I highly recommend Vickie for training, grooming and the over best care for anyone wanting a compassionate groomer and trainer! She's the BANG for your BUCK!

We have worked with Vickie at Mutt Matters for almost 2 years now. Jack, our golden doodle, get so excited when we say "time to see Ms. Vickie". He thinks he is going on vacation! Vickie takes her time getting to know your dog and she treats the dogs like her own. We also did an individualized puppy training with Vickie. Jack learned basic puppy and leash manners. I would highly recommend Vickie to anyone who wants a safe and loving grooming or training experience!

I love coming to Ms. Vickie's for my grooming. I listen to soft music, get a coconut oil rub and lots of TLC. I can tell that Ms. Vickie loves me very much. My mom is always so pleased with how good I smell and feel and then I get lots of hugs from her. Karma and Opal are my pals too and sometimes we get to race around the yard before I settle down in the spa. So Relaxing!!! I just melt right.
